Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data I process on the FollowLukas website (the "website"), for what purpose, and what rights you have in connection with it under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR) and Act No. 110/2019 Coll., on personal data processing.

1. Who is the data controller

The personal data controller is Lukáš Dobrovolný, company ID (IČ) 01481321, contact email lukas@followlukas.com.

2. What data I process

• Traffic data - anonymised statistical data (for example the pages you visit, the length of your visit, approximate location, type of device) through the tools Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager. This data is collected only if you give your consent via the cookie banner.
• Marketing data - if you give your consent via the cookie banner, the Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited) is loaded. It measures visits and the performance of ads (for example the pages you visit and a browser identifier). Without your consent it is not loaded.
• Data from email communication - if you write to me by email, I process your email address and the content of your message only to handle your enquiry.
• Collaboration enquiry - when you send the form on the Partnerships page, I process your name, the name of your company or brand (if you fill it in), email, the selected interest and the text of your message. The data is stored in the Ecomail service and sent to me by email so that I can reply to you.
• Newsletter - if you subscribe, I process your email address, the date of consent and data on the delivery and opening of emails through the Ecomail service. You give your consent to receive the FollowLukas newsletter by subscribing (controller Lukáš Dobrovolný).

3. Legal basis and purpose of processing

• Analytics data: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
• Marketing data (Meta Pixel): your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
• Email communication and collaboration enquiry: legitimate interest in handling your enquiry and possibly starting a collaboration (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• FollowLukas newsletter: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing in any email.

4. Retention period

Analytics data is retained by Google according to the Google Analytics 4 settings (by default 14 months). I keep email communication and collaboration enquiries for the time necessary to handle the enquiry, for a maximum of 24 months. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.

5. Recipients of data

The data may be processed by the following processors: Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager), Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (Meta Pixel, only with your consent), Cookiebot / Usercentrics A/S (cookie consent management), Ecomail.cz, s.r.o. (newsletter and enquiry records), Resend, Inc. (sending the email that notifies me of an enquiry) and Cloudflare, Inc. (hosting). Some of them may transfer data outside the EU/EEA on the basis of standard contractual clauses.

The maps on the website (the Map of places and the location on place pages) display a map base layer from OpenStreetMap. Your browser downloads the map tiles directly from the servers of the OpenStreetMap Foundation (tile.openstreetmap.org), so when a map is displayed it passes them your IP address and basic browser data. I do not receive this data.

Some links on the website lead to partners, for example GetYourGuide or Booking.com (affiliate links). The link contains my partner ID and the address of the article it was clicked on, so the partner can attribute the booking to me; it contains no personal data about you. Once you open the link you are on the partner's website, which acts as an independent controller and uses its own cookies under its own privacy policy.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• access your personal data,
• rectification of inaccurate data,
• erasure of data ("the right to be forgotten"),
• restriction of processing,
• data portability,
• object to processing,
• withdraw your consent to the processing of cookies at any time - see the Cookies page,
• lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.cz).
